Presented as a slideshow with pictures, this view of weird stuff in the good ol' USA is not only worth a look...but a big surprise as well.
More than forty years and a thousand suspects later, the F.B.I. is still unable to put a lid on the only unsolved skyjacking in U.S. history - the case of 'D.B. Cooper'. For those of you unfamiliar with Cooper, he was the guy who hijacked Northwest Airlines Flight 305 - a Boeing …

Back in 2010, I predicted that mainstream homes of the future would be built based on alternative energies and be off the grid. Looks like it's already coming true. These guys offer zero-electric-bill homes, among other things.
Bernie Geestman lives in a small town tucked under the shadow of the Olympic mountains in Washington State. He's been interviewed twice about the November 24, 1971 D.B. Cooper skyjacking.

Where are the jobs? Why do the cost of basic necessities and energy keep going up? Where's that recovery we were told would happen by now? Tough questions, with an easier answer: It's up to Americans to keep an eye on the ball and knock it out of the park. Using a …

It was bound to happen. The Stop Online Piracy Act is DEAD. It never had a chance anyway. In a science fiction vein, let's explain why, and keep it simple. It's because the balance of true power on Earth has shifted.

Let's keep this simple. It was an ass-kicking from start to finish. Congratulations to the Crimson Tide. LSU was never in the game, not really. On offense, they looked like they installed lead weights into their shoes before the game.
Ever since the Green Movement in the summer of 2009, paranoia by the Iranian government has become a way of life.

Don't expect anyone at AB of Seattle to shed a tear on the death of Tiny Kim, the dictator (we HATE that word) of North Korea. We've been around the block with him a few times. He's threatened the U.S.

On November 24th, 1971 a man giving the name 'Dan Cooper' boarded Northwest Airlines Flight 305 headed from Portland, Oregon to Seattle. While they were in the air, he hijacked the Boeing 727 by using a (likely) fake bomb. Once on the ground in Seattle, he demanded $200,000 …

Great comment about Comcast.
Robert your one of those columnist's who make me want to spend time on Newsvine everyday!
No question in my mind that even with the somewhat "different" cartoons that have ended up almost as a trademark feature on the articles, Robert Blevins remains as one of the most knowledgeable and well rounded authors on Newsvine and the additional rather nice feature is he happens to be one heck of a nice guy also. Nice work Robert !
I love reading your column, I always learn something!

Could not connect on Ultimate Subaru link you left. Perhaps I am doing something wrong. Thanx

Thank you very much. I enjoy reading your column, and look to your articles for the voice of reason and calmness.
I'd like to say Robert seems a great writer! He's also in nearby Washington, a state away from California here. I voted and commented on a great artile he wrote today and recommend others do likewise!
Excellent work Robert.
Informative and entertaining. What more could anyone ask for?
After only having visited this column for less than 10 minutes, I can tell that Robert Blevins is a knowledgeable and wise author. If I could have my vote for newest author who has received least votes and comments for great articles, it definitely goes to him.
